Hello! My name is Julia and I created Julia Travels in 2022 after moving to Germany in 2020, with my husband Marco.
Marco and I met in 2018 in Columbus Ohio, both having graduated from Ohio University a few years prior. Ironically, we both had the opportunity to study abroad in Europe during college. That is when we both realized how much we each loved traveling and experiencing new cultures. We ultimately both had a strong desire to go back and see as much of Europe as possible. In 2020, Marco had the opportunity to transfer to Frankfurt, Germany for his job. We jumped on that opportunity, packed our bags, and booked our one-way flights to Deutschland!
In 2022, after living in Europe for a few years and having traveled to so many amazing places, I wanted to be able to share our experiences with as many people as possible! I started writing travel guides for every city we visit, while sharing tips, recommendations, best restaurants, what to do in each city, and so much more!
